The Teaching of Spanish program within the cultural context of the coffee sector seeks as part of the learning process of a foreign language, a calendar of cultural outings is proposed that will adjust to the preferences and needs of the participants. We provide an adequate space to know and learn about Colombian culture and more specifically the culture of the coffee area, through complementary classes on and off the campus of the University.

Academic Component

Our programme is based on international standards (European Common Framework of Reference and The Cervantes Institute’s Curricular Plan). It is characterised by classes, individual or small groups, of which personalized attention is guaranteed. Furthermore, this programme counts on a flexible timetable which accommodates the participant’s needs.

Our Spanish programme in the coffee context and cultural landscape: world heritage site is aimed towards foreigners: kids, teenagers, adults, and exchange students who have a desire to learn Spanish as a Foreign Language (SFL) whilst developing
communicative competencies in Spanish. To this end, it is aimed towards those who wish to improve or perfect their oral and written skills in order to be able to successfully participate in different communicative contexts in Spanish.
