Students interested in the Spanish in the Coffee Region Cultural Landscape Program must complete the registration form. In the case of students who are outside the country at the time of registration, the University will issue a letter of acceptance to the program, which must be presented to Migración Colombia at the time of entering the country.

Foreigners have permission to be in Colombia for a total period of up to 180 days, however, before completing a 90-day stay, they must request an extension to legalize their stay in the country. This extension can be requested online to Migración Colombia.

If the stay exceeds 180 days (6 months), the foreigner must apply for a visa. This procedure is personal and non-transferable, which can also be made online before the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. If the foreigner has visited the country previously as a tourist before joining the Spanish in the Coffee Region Cultural Landscape program, they must appear before Migración Colombia to make adjustments to their immigration status.

Every foreign student who registers in our program must have international health insurance that has coverage for medical expenses, repatriation and everything related to COVID 19.

All visa applications, as the case may be, must be made through the digital platform provided for this purpose through the official website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
